Christopher J. Turnbull
President Aviation Division/Chief Financial Officer
In addition to being a member of the Board of Directors for Chappell, Smith & Associates, Inc., Christopher Turnbull serves as the President of the Aviation Division, Chief Financial Officer, and an aviation insurance specialist. He has over 25 years of leadership experience (both military and civilian) and extensive experience in business planning, financial analysis, operations management, safety analysis, and public relations. Turnbull came to CS&A Aviation Insurance from the airline industry where he served as a Vice President of Operations, Director of Safety, Director of Security, Airline Captain, Air Safety Chairman, and an airline accident investigator. He is a licensed Airline Transport Pilot and a former Flight Instructor. He earned his Bachelor's Degree at the University of Washington and served in the U.S. Army where he was honored with several awards and medals for meritorious service and outstanding achievement.
In addition to his other duties at CS&A, Chris has assumed responsibility for the operations of Next Dimension Publishing, LLC including organizing and editing the Aviation Insurance & Risk Management magazine. Chris also manages and supervises the publishing of specialty publications and other materials produced by Next Dimension Publishing, LLC.
