CS&A Aviation Insurance is a division of Chappell, Smith & Associates, Inc., a full-line insurance agency dedicated to serving its clients? risk management needs.

Originally formed in 1881 as a partnership between Buell and Crockett, the agency was purchased in 1981 by employees Tom Chappell and Charles Smith. Now one of the largest aviation insurance specialists in the United States, CS&A has offices in Tennessee and Georgia.

Our mission is to meet all the insurance needs of individuals as well as commercial insurance clients. We conduct accounts with the personal attention required for individually-owned aircraft and small aviation businesses. We maintain a veteran staff of specialists, most having more than 20 years experience in the insurance industry, so we have the experience and expertise to handle regional airlines and large corporate accounts. We cover 46 states, and through our London affiliations, we have written insurance accounts in eight countries spanning Europe and Africa.

CS&A represents over 40 major property and casualty underwriting companies, including all of the major aviation insurance markets. We are also a Lloyd?s correspondent. This broad insurance company base enables us to meet our clients? needs for coverage and competitive pricing.

The company supports its aviation, personal and commercial clients with a financial services department providing health, life and disability products, and life insurance for pilots. We assure each client will have quality service and excellence in risk management.
